What You’ll Learn
Our Harness & Lanyard Training course is designed for operators, supervisors, and managers who are required to use harnesses and lanyards as part of their work duties.
This is a half-day training course covering the following:
  • Overview of applicable Health & Safety laws and regulations, including the Work at Height Regulations 2005
  • Legal responsibilities of employees and employers
  • Types of harnesses and lanyards, and their appropriate uses
  • Correct selection and safe inspection of equipment
  • How to properly put on and wear different types of harnesses
  • Safe working practices while using a harness and lanyard
  • How to devise an effective rescue plan in case of an emergency
  • Proper storage of equipment
Duration: 3 – 4.5 hours (depending on class size and experience)
Target Group: Anyone involved in the selection, inspection, and use of harnesses and lanyards
